Klaviyo has a fantastic support team. There are plenty of ways you can get help which we’ll cover in this article.
Klaviyo is one of the most popular Email Service Provider for ecommerce stores because of their deep integration with platforms like Shopify, Woocommerce, Big Commerce, etc.
While it’s fairly intuitive to navigate around the platform to set up automated flows, send email campaigns or set up integration, there are some advanced features that require advanced help.
How to Contact Klaviyo Support
From your dashboard, you can click on Support in the top right of your navigation bar.

Or you can go to klaviyo.com/support directly.
Once there, you have many options to get support:
- Emailing them a message
- Getting on live chat
- Asking the community
- Browsing the help center
- Attending a live training or going through an on-demand course

Having 24/7 access to support is a huge plus. Customers shop on your stores around the clock so being able to resolve your issues quickly is critical.
How do I send an email to Klaviyo?
To send a message to support, click on “Send a message” button below “Message Support” heading.
It’ll bring you to a page to compose your message. This is now the only way to create support tickets at Klaviyo. In the past, you could email them at , , or to get help. These email addresses no longer create support tickets. So follow along the procedure outlined in this article:

There’s an optional place for you to cc a copy of the email to your team mates.
Then, pick a category from the dropdown that’s most relevant to your message. It’ll help you get your message to the right department for faster response.
Next, write a subject line and describe what you need help with. If you have files, screenshots or screen recordings that would help to explain your issues better, you can upload them as well.
Once done, click on “Send” at the bottom right of the page.
The support team will get back to you. Take note that email support is available between 6 am–10 pm ET on weekdays and 10 am–4 pm ET on weekends.
Klaviyo Live Chat Support
Another way to get help is using the live chat support feature. However, take note that it is only available to paid customers only. If you’re on the free plan, you can still get help from other means.
Live chat support is available onweekdays from 8am to 5pm EDT.
From the Support portal, click on “Start Chat” under “Chat with Support”. A pop up chat box will appear and Kira will greet you.

Kira is an AI that will try to help you. First, you type your question to Kira. Then Kira will provide you some articles that may help you with your issues. If she’s not able to resolve your issues, you will be added to the live chat queue to talk to a real human being from Klaviyo team.
If you’re unable to see the chatbox after clicking “Start Chat”, there could be a couple reasons.
- You don’t have an active paid plan with Klaviyo
- If you have a paid plan and still not seeing the chatbox, it could be blocked by a browser ad blocker. You will need to disable the ad blocker and reload the page. If the problem still persist, you can still get help using other ways like sending an email.
Klaviyo Community
The community is a great way to crowdsource the answers to your questions. There are thousands of users like you who are actively using Klaviyo.
While the Klaviyo team are experts in the features of the product, these users are using them to grow their ecommerce businesses. You can learn and share email marketing and SMS marketing best practices as well as tips and tricks to best use Klaviyo.
To access the community, login to your dashboard and go to the support portal. Then click “Visit Forum” under “Ask our Community” section.
Klaviyo Help Center
If you want instant answers, the help center is the best place. It has lots of articles covering a wide range of common issues. There are two ways to use the help center.
The easiest way is to type into the search box your query. Then it will list out all the articles that are relevant to you.
Not sure what to search for? Alternatively, you can explore the Help Center and choose the category that you need help with. It will give you the whole list of available guides related to that subject.
Should you still need help, I recommend hopping on the live chat, sending them an email or asking the community.
Klaviyo Courses
Klaviyo has on-demand courses and regular live trainings to help you get familiar with the platform.
Courses range from setting up your account to setting up broadcasts and automated flows to segmenting email lists and many more.
Klaviyo is relatively simple to use. Follow along the guides and you’ll be familiar with the platform very quickly.
